I am Varun Hiremath. To introduce myself, I am a Vth year Dual degree student pursuing Aerospace Engineering at IIT Madras.
About Myself:
I am from Gulbarga a district in north Karnataka. But I stay in New Delhi. My family is settled there since 1971. I was born and brought up in Delhi. I studied in Navayug School, Sarojini Nagar.
I was always keen on joining IIT to pursue my Engineering degree. So I prepared for 2 years in Delhi along with my 11th and 12th class studies and cleared JEE in 2003. I am currently doing a Dual Degree course (5 Year B.Tech + M.Tech) in the Aerospace Engineering Department at IIT Madras
I love programing in C, C++, Python and exploring the powers of Linux in my free time. Here I would like to mention about my friend Kumar Appaiah who has really inspired me to learn and use Linux and Open Source softwares.
